Phony eyes, and you're not just anyone

Darling, you'll never know that the stars shine from your eyes, and moonbeams drip from your throat when you speak. Or that even the alphabet becomes impossible to recite when I catch a glimpse of your shadow. You're to blame for the erratic beat echoing from the hollows of my chest and the depths of water my head is swimming in. I could drown in the raindrops pouring from your soul. I'll let it seep through my bones and drench my skin until I start to bleed you.

But darling, you'll never know; you're distracted by the shadows in your soul. Oh don't you know they only exist to make your light shine even brighter?
